Description: The urban infill lot is located between Calle Loiza and Calle McLeary in the Ocean Park area in San Juan. The solution proposed addresses the high demand in tourist lodging and is conceived with simple, modest rooms configured with shipping containers. The 40 ft. long containers are designed and mounted on each other creating a central patio on an elevated plinth. The project connects with the urban condition by moving car park to the back of the lot and create a street presence much needed in the area.
